MUSCAT : His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has issued a Royal Decree to conduct military promotions and appointments.
Based on the Royal Decree following are the appointments and promotions issued by the Ministry of Defence:
- Dr. Mohammed Al Zaabi appointed as Secretary General of Ministry of Defence.
- General Abdullah Al Raisi appointed Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces.
- General Saif Al Rahbi appointed Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman
- Major General Saleh Al Maskari appointed Commander of the National Defence College
- Major General Khamis Al Ghafri appointed Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman.
