MUSCAT: In what is a matter of pride for Oman, Nadhira Al Harthy has become the first Arab woman to reach the summit of Mount Ama Dablam.
Located at 6, 812 meters, Ama Dablam is one among the highest Himalayan peak in Nepal.
“The night was very difficult due to the cold and wind, but I achieved a new Omani and Arab achievement,” Nadhira said on her Instagrams story.

Nadhira is also the first Omani woman to climb Mount Everest, scaled the heights of her dreams as she set her foot on the highest mountain on earth on May 23, 2019. Her contribution to the National Pride was publicly celebrated across Oman last year.
