MUSCAT: The decisions issued by the Supreme Committee including gatherings and wearing masks are still in place despite many activities returning to the country as normal, Minister of Health said on Thursday.
Speaking to reporters at the Supreme Committee press conference, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi has urged the public to adhere to the precautionary measures. “We have noticed that some people are not following the measures. The vaccine must have arrived but that is not the end of the pandemic,” the Minister said.
“The precautionary decisions taken by the Supreme Committee including stopping all gatherings and compulsory rule on wearing masks are still in place. There is no change to that,” he added.
