MUSCAT :His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has issued Royal Decrees on issuing a new statute of the country that sets a new mechanism for the transfer of power and appointing a Crown Prince.
According to the details stipulated in the new statute seen by The Arabian Stories, the rule of power will be passed from the current Sultan to his eldest son after him. Accordingly, His Highness Sayyid Theyazin Bin Haitham Bin Tarik has become the crown prince.
Theyazin is currently serving as the Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth.
