MUSCAT: Passengers coming to Oman from anywhere in the world must now obtain a mandatory PCR test certificate before arriving in the country, the Supreme Committee said on Sunday.
The decision comes in the wake of a fast-spreading new Covid-19 strain across the globe. The committee also imposed quarantine procedures for travellers coming to the Sultanate for less than seven days.
Meanwhile, Oman will open its borders (land, air and sea) on Tuesday, December 29 after closing it for one week.
