MUSCAT: Many services from Alphabet Inc, including YouTube, Gmail and Google Drive, are down for thousands of users across the globe including Oman on Monday.
The company’s video platform did not load for users and had an error message: “Something went wrong…”.
Users visiting Gmail are greeted with the message, ”We’re sorry, but your account is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience and suggest trying again in a few minutes. You can view the G Suite Status Dashboard for the current status of the service. If the issue persists, please visit the Help Center.”

Many Google services including YouTube, Gmail, Google and Google Drive are not working for many users.
“I am not able to access my email for the last one hour,” said Azeem Ashraf, a Muscat based expat.
Manas Xavier, a techie based in Muscat said: “It’s a global outage, even users in India are not able to access emails or YouTube.”
Alphabet did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
