MUSCAT: The National Business Centre (NBC), which falls under the umbrella of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates – Madayn, signed an incubation agreement with Tamkin Digital Transformation Company. Tamkin offers services related to digital transformation through usage of fourth generation technologies including Internet of Things, cloud computing and cloud ERP for resource management system, and fieldwork management system. The company also offers consultancy services in change management, and mainly focuses on applications related to smart offices, maintenance work and asset tracking.

According to the incubation agreement, NBC will provide Tamkin with a variety of services including office space, access to intensive training, and coaching and mentoring sessions. These services aim at developing the entrepreneurial skills which will eventually contribute to the growth of the company, partnerships, and easy access to business mentors.  

It is worth mentioning that NBC is an initiative launched by Madayn at the Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM) to offer promising Omani entrepreneurs a platform to develop their business ideas and advance them into growing ventures. The centre offers a premier platform for Omani entrepreneurs by providing business development support and guidance, training and mentoring, access to markets and industry experts, and state-of-the-art and fully equipped office space, meeting rooms and presentation facilities.
