MUSCAT :Citizens from 103 countries are now allowed to enter Oman, as the decision has come into effect, a top Royal Oman Police official said.
Speaking to the media at the Supreme Committee press conference, Colonel Ali Al Sulaimani, Assistant Director General of Passports and Residence also warned tourists not to overstay beyond the 10-day period as they will be fined OMR 10 per day. “The decision to exempt visas for citizens from 103 countries has come into effect. But they (tourist) will be subjected to fine for each day if they exceed the given 10-day period,” Al Sulaimani added.
Tourists from 103 countries who are visiting Oman must have confirmed hotel bookings, health insurance and a return ticket.
