MUSCAT : Passengers travelling via airline to Oman need not conduct a PCR test before arriving in the country, a top health official informed on Thursday.

Speaking to the media Dr. Saif Al Abri, Director General of Disease Surveillance and Control at the Ministry of Health said “those travellers coming to Oman via land borders must bring a PCR, while those arriving by flights at the Muscat International Airport need not carry PCR test report as the test will be done at the airport itself.”

A PCR test is required upon arrival at the airport and another lab test needs to be done after 8 days.
