MUSCAT: The Public Prosecution on Thursday issued names and photos of 42 people who violated the Supreme Committee decisions.
The names and photos have been published after the court of first instance in the governorates of Al Buraimi, Musandam, South Al Sharqiyah and Dhofar issued judgements against the violators.
Among the nationalities who were arrested include 9 Omanis, 20 expats from Philippines, 9 Bangladesh nationals, three Indians and one Pakistani.

According to the Public Prosecution, the accused violated the Supreme Committee decisions by going out during the movement ban, and for illegal gathering, while some violated the precautionary measures by not wearing face masks.
In a statement issued, the Public Prosecution said the accused were issued sentences ranging from three months imprisonment to a fine of OMR 1,000 including deportation for expats from the country.
