MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police resumed issuing new work visas (resident visas) which was temporarily suspended for nearly eight months due the pandemic, a top senior official informed The Arabian Stories.
Following the coronavirus pandemic, the ROP had stopped issuing all types of visas since March. “Applications can be submitted for issuing new work visas and it will be issued if the applicant meet the necessary requirements,” the ROP official said on Sunday.
According to the official, applications for the new visas can be submitted either through the website of Royal Oman Police or with the Sanad Service centres.

Early this month, ROP started issuing family as well as business visas which was also temporarily suspended due to the pandemic.
