MUSCAT: The Public Prosecution on Thursday issued names and photos of 12 people who violated the Supreme Committee decisions in the wake or coronavirus outbreak.
According to the Public Prosecution, the 12 accused including four Omanis and eight expats violated several decisions of the Supreme Committee. “Some of them moved around during the night movement ban, some were arrested for illegal gathering and for not adhering to home quarantine rules. Accordingly they were referred to the competent courts, and sentences were issued against them ranging between three months imprisonment and a fine of OMR 1000 with deportation from the country for the expat accused,” the Public Prosecution said in the statement.
