MUSCAT: Oman has opened its borders with neighbouring countries and travel is allowed for Omanis and residents, Minister of Health informed on Thursday.
Speaking during the Supreme Committee press conference, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi said both citizens and residents must follow the precautionary procedures while travelling. “The borders are open with neighbouring countries, and travel is allowed for Omanis and residents and they must adhere to the announced procedures when travelling and upon returning to the Sultanate,” Al Saidi said.
On October 1, Oman reopened its airports for international flights, while land borders were closed in the wake of coronavirus outbreak.
