MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has presided over the Council of Ministers meeting at the Barakah Palace on Tuesday morning.
During the meeting, His Majesty affirmed that the education and health sectors are among the priorities for the government. His Majesty also highlighted about the economic and financial challenges that the Sultanate is facing like other countries and the government is taking a set of measures to improve these conditions. This includes initiatives such as the medium-term fiscal balance plan (2020-2024) which will create an attractive environment for investment, as well as stimulating and diversifying sources of revenue, supporting economic growth and directing financial resources for optimal guidance.
