MUSCAT: People coming to Oman from all borders need to conduct a PCR test 96-hours before arriving in the country, the Supreme Committee said on Sunday.

In a major development, the 14-day quarantine period has also been reduced to 7-days.

“All those coming to Oman’s ports of entry must obtain a PCR test 96 hours prior to their arrival. They must be subject to the PCR test upon entering the country as well and must enter quarantine for seven days.”

“On the 8th day they have to do a PCR test here in Oman,” the statement added.
