MUSCAT :Oman has now conducted more than 500,000 Covid-19 tests since the outbreak. Of these, 114,434 cases have been identified, representing 22 per cent positive results, a top Ministry of Health official said.
Dr. Saif bin Salim Al Abri, Director General of Diseases Surveillance and Control at Ministry of Health said more than 4,000 test were conducted on Wednesday. “We have so far done 509,959 Covid-19 tests 22% from these tested positive,” he said.
Authorities also confirmed a further 618 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday as well as five deaths and 3,063 new recoveries in 24 hours.

The new figures take the Oman’s totals to 1208 deaths and 103,060 recoveries.
