MUSCAT: An expat in Dhofar Governorate has been sentenced to one month in jail and will be deported from the country after he violated the Infectious Diseases Control Law, Oman’s Public Prosecution (PP) said on Wednesday.
In a statement issued, PP said the accused did not adhere to the Covid-19 quarantine procedures and violated the Supreme Committee decisions. However, PP did not reveal the nationality of the person.
