Pharmacies can operate during movement ban, says Oman’s Ministry of Health

MUSCAT: Pharmacies are allowed to operate during the movement ban from 8pm to 5am, Ministry of Health said on Wednesday.

In a statement issued, MOH said pharmacies that are on duty during the night shift and those that work round the clock can operate across the country. “It was decided that only pharmacies on night duty as per the duty roster issued by the MOH’s Directorate General of Pharmaceutical; Affairs and Drug Control as well as the pharmacies operated 24 hours will be allowed to open during the lockdown hours( 8pm to 5am),” said MOH.

The Supreme Committee has imposed a nationwide night movement ban in the wake of coronavirus outbreak until October 24.
