MUSCAT: Hundreds of people are crowding on beaches and flouting Covid-19 safety measures despite warning from officials, Minister of Health said on Thursday.
Speaking at the press conference, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi said: “I have received a call from a citizen about a gathering of hundreds of people on a beach without wearing face masks or keeping physical distance, this is totally reckless,” he said.
The restrictions on gatherings taken to prevent Covid-19 are still there. “We cant have policemen at every door, every restaurant, and every beach,” he added.
