MUSCAT: US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo thanked His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik for the unwavering friendship.
On Thursday, Pompeo arrived in Oman on a short visit and met His Majesty at the Al Barakah Palace.
In his statement, Pompeo praised the generosity of Omani people. “The Omani people are so warm and generous. I’m grateful for our strong partnership. Thanks to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik for our steadfast friendship,” Pompeo said.
