Land allocated to construct Nepal embassy in Oman

MUSCAT: Land area has been allocated to Nepal to build an embassy and residence for the head of the mission in Oman in the diplomatic area.

In a statement issued, the embassy said it signed an agreement for the plot with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday.

“Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Nepal to the Sultanate H.E. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal and Undersecretary, Administration and Financial, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate, H.E. Mohamed bin Nasser bin Mohamed Al Wahaibi signed the agreement for their respective government,” the statement said.

“As per the agreement, Nepal embassy is slotted a plot of 4100 SQM in the diplomatic area. The construction work will start soon,” the embassy added.
