MUSCAT: His Excellency Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef has resigned from the board of Al Anwar Holdings SAOG after he was appointed as the as the new Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
In a statement issued to Muscat Securities Market (MSM, said Al Yousef “no longer hold the Directorship of Al Anwar Holdings SAOG. He has tendered his resignation from the Board of Directors of our Company with immediate effect from 19 August 2020.”
Yousef was the Deputy Chairman and Chairman of Nomination and Renumeration Committee at Al Anwar Holdings. “He was representing Fincorp Investment LLC, who will nominate their replacement in due course. We wish HE Qais all the success in his new responsibilities,” the statement added.
