MUSCAT: 70,000 stranded Indians have been repatriated in the last four months, a top Indian Embassy official informed The Arabian Stories.
In the wake of coronavirus pandemic, 407 special flights were used to repatriate Indians from Oman. “275 charter flights and 132 Vande Bharat Mission flights were used for the repatriation since May,” the official said.
Many who have left the country include medical emergency cases, pregnant women and those who lost jobs and in distress.

India have already announced special flights until August 31 to repatriate its citizens from Oman.
