MUSCAT: The Public Authority for Water (Diam) has informed that water supply will be affected in parts of Wilayat Baushar on Wednesday evening.

Diam, said the water supply will be affected due to the work carried out to connect the new main water transmission lines in Baushar area. According to Diam, water supply in Madinat Sultan Qaboos, Al Khuwair, Murtafat Al Khalili and parts of southern Al Ghubra maybe affected.

“Within the framework of strengthening the water transmission system and enhancing its sustainability, work will be carried out ‪this evening‬ to connect the new main water transmission lines to the current network in Madinat Sultan Qaboos in the Wilayat of Baushar. The work will be carried out from 6pm for a period of 24 hours,” Diam added.
