MUSCAT: Coronavirus mortality rate in Oman continues to rise as the total touched 588 on Monday as the country recorded the highest number of deaths in a single-day. According to the Ministry of Health, 16 people died in just 24 hours.
A total of 79 people died in the last 10 days battling the virus. However, the country seems to have flattened the curve in recording new Covid-19 cases. On Monday, 140 cases were registered taking the total tally to 83,086.
