MUSCAT: Nearly 600 villages in Oman will have access to internet connectivity this year, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) informed on Sunday.
An agreement was signed between TRA and Oman Broadband Company to implement fixed telecommunications and internet connectivity to 598 villages and 141 schools in the country.
According to TRA, the project will be implemented during the last quarter of 2020.
