MUSCAT: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry completed 105,606 transactions that were filed between January 1 and June 30, 2020.
The ministry said that 33,441 transactions during the 6 months of the current year were made through the online portal Invest Easy and 72,165 transactions were made through service delivery offices.
The investors’ approach to conduct their transactions by using the electronic self-services provided through the online portal “Invest Easy” has made its completion swift. It has also helped in making the procedures clear and made updating of all company data electronically possible. It also saved their time and efforts, as well as eradicated hidden trade.
