MUSCAT: Muscat Municipality has closed several commercial activities for violating the Supreme Committee’s decision in the wake of coronavirus outbreak.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Municipality without naming the commercial activities said it ordered these shops to close after it failed to follow the necessary health requirements. “Muscat Municipality closes some businesses for failing to abide by the necessary health requirements, violating the decisions of the Supreme Committee dealing with COVID-19, and it reiterates its role to ensure compliance with the requirements & measures for the greater good,” the statement from Municipality said.
Municipality has reiterated that all commercial activities must adhere to health specifications and comply with precautionary measures.
