MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued a Royal Decree appointing His Highness Sayyid Dr Fahad Bin Al Julanda Al Said as the new vice-chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University (SQU).
Dr Fahad is the sixth vice-chancellor of SQU and he takes over the role from Dr. Ali Al Bimani.
“I am proud and honored to be a part of this prosperous community, and as the 6th President of the Sultan Qaboos University, I welcome every member of the University to join our venture towards success,” Dr. Fahad said.

Dr. Fahad was the former Assistant Secretary General for Innovation Development at The Research Council.
