MUSCAT: Health insurance coverage for coronavirus examinations are applicable to those testing positive, Oman’s Capital Market Authority (CMA) clarified on Tuesday.
“The health insurance covers the cost of the examination only if the result is positive and does not cover the cost of the test if it is negative,” CMA said.
According to CMA, the insurance coverage applies for all Covid-19 related medical examinations, treatment for inpatients in the hospital and in intensive care unit (ICU).
