MUSCAT: The long-awaited traffic lights at Burj Al Sahwa roundabout in Al Seeb will start operating from Monday.
According to Muscat Municipality, the signals will streamline the traffic at the entrance and exits of the roundabout.
“The Municipality announces the start of traffic lights and opening to traffic of the Burj Al Sahwa Roundabout from Monday morning, in coordination with the Royal Oman Police (ROP). This comes as part of the effort to organise the lanes, to meet the traffic density, and to streamline traffic at the entrances and exits of the roundabout,” a statement from Muscat Municipality said.
