COVID-19: Seeb fish market reopens after three-month shutdown

MUSCAT: The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries has re-opened Al Seeb Fish Market after a three-month lockdown due to the outbreak of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
 
Ibrahim bin Abdullah al-Qartoobi, Director of Fisheries Department in the Wilayat of Seeb, said that, for the time being, only 30% of the market’s capacity will be utilized, which means only fishermen, salesmen, fish cutters (filleters) and people of the Wilayat of Seeb will be allowed to visit the market.
