MUSCAT: Firefighters extinguished a fire that engulfed a car along the Darsait-Qurum highway in Wilayat Muttrah, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance said on Sunday.
In a statement issued by PACDA said the driver of the burning car was able to get out in time and was not hurt.
PACDA called on motorists to periodically check their vehicles and send them for maintenance. PACDA also asked the drivers to take necessary precautions to avoid fire accidents.
