MUSCAT: Oman’s Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) on Thursday said it will resume domestic flight services between Muscat and airports in oil fields.

The decision comes after PACA received the approval from the Supreme Committee. “Based on the decision by the Supreme Committee, we are evaluating the health and safety measures adopted for the return of flights between Muscat and the airports of oil fields in the Sultanate,” PACA said in a statement.

Earlier in the day, Dr. Ahmed Al Futaisi, Minister of Transport, has confirmed that resuming air traffic operations are still being discussed.
