Nissan Oman reopen showrooms with safety measures

MUSCAT: As per Oman’s Supreme Committee guidelines, Nissan Oman, from the house of Suhail Bahwan Automobiles (SBA), has reopened its showroom with special safety measures in place to protect against the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

The precautionary measures and guidelines in place include

  • Regular disinfecting of common surfaces
  • Mandatory wearing of mask and gloves while in showroom
  • Temperature checks of all employees
  • Social distancing will be in effect inside the showroom
  • Consultation on prior appointment

Customers would have to book appointment to visit the showroom through the toll-free number 800 50011 to avoid a long wait.

A spokesperson for Nissan Oman said, “We are pleased to welcome back our customers and are ready to serve them. We want to reassure them that we are taking every precautionary measure possible. Safety measures we are implementing include providing temperature checks for employees and others entering the showroom as well as regularly disinfecting surfaces and introducing measures to ensure six feet distance between all. We urge customers to book an appointment before visiting the showroom.”

He added, “We are fully committed to offer a safe experience to our customers. We would like to humbly remind everyone that wearing masks in public places and washing hands frequently are essential to help protect everyone around.”

The showrooms will be open from 8:00am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:30pm from Sunday to Thursday. It will remain closed on Friday and Saturday.
