MUSCAT : Following the spread of the COVID-19 and the current lockdown situation, Wattayah Motors, the official distributor of Volkswagen and Audi vehicles in the Sultanate, announced the reopening of all its showrooms. Moreover, keeping in line with the directives of the relevant Supreme Committee, several safety measures have been implemented at each of its facilities to maintain safety standards for customers as well as staff.

Keeping this in mind, services such as home or office test drives have been made available, including personal sales consultations, social distancing measures within all showrooms and a remote vehicle purchase process. Sanitisation of test-drive vehicles and all their facilities are also implemented accordingly.

Audi and Volkswagen customers can now pre-book vehicles for test drives online through the new digital platform or via the company’s application. Moreover, customers can select the external service, which will allow the Wattayah team members to pick up and drop off the vehicle at the customer’s destination of choice, at no extra charge. If customers prefer to personally deliver the vehicle, the team will receive and deliver the vehicle at the parking lot upon completion of sanitisation, without the need for the customer to enter. Additionally, customers can also order spare parts online and the team will deliver it to their preferred location.
