SALALAH: His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, is closely following the tropical depression in Dhofar Governorate, and is drawing-up the plans to deal with the weather situation.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Defence, also said that the Armed Force Hospital in Dhofar has opened all its departments to cater to citizens and residents. “His Highness Sayyid Shihab is closely following the weather situation in Dhofar Governorate under the direct supervision of the Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces in activating support and plans to deal with the tropical depression,” the statement said.
“The Armed Forces Hospital in wilayat of Salalah have taken efforts to open up the hospital for citizens and residents for urgent cases in coordination with health units of the Ministry of Health, during the current crisis due to tropical depression,” the statement added.
