MUSCAT: Those who suspect they may have symptoms of coronavirus must not hide in fear but come out and get tested, a top Ministry of Health (MOH) official said on Wednesday.
Speaking to The Arabian Stories, Dr. Mohammed Al Hosni, Undersecretary of Ministry of Health also urged expat residents to get tested for Covid-19. “As we have repeatedly said they will receive the treatment for free, even if they do not have the resident card or their resident card is expired. No legal procedure will be taken,” he said.
According to Al Hosni, all testing centres are conducting examinations in full-swing. “As you know we have also started the mobile testing centres. These are buses that will go to places where people can come and get tested without going to other examination centres,” he said.
