MUSCAT: Galfar Engineering and Contracting, has appointed Dr. Hamoud Rashid Al Tobi, as the new Chief Executive Officer, the company said.
In a disclosure to Muscat Securities Market, the company said the Board of Directors have decided to end the services of Hans Erlings, the current CEO “with effect from April 29.”
Al Tobi was the former CEO of Al Shawamikh Oil Services Company, which is one of the Large Local Community companies established with the support of Petroleum Development Oman Company (PDO). Al Tobi has 16-years of Oil and Gas industry experience. “He has a track record of working on complex assignments and leading organsiational transformations,” the statement added.
