MUSCAT: The decisions taken by the Supreme Committee to control the spread of the coronavirus outbreak in the country are balanced and thoughtful, according to Oman’s Minister of Health.
Speaking in an interview, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi said the decisions taken so far by the committee are based on evidence and facts. “There is a deep study involved while taking any decision. These decisions are balanced and thoughtful. Its based on evidence and proofs,” he said.
According to Al Saidi, the Committee also looks at the health impact and the commercial aspect involved while taking a decision.

Oman on Monday confirmed 51 new coronavirus cases in the country taking the total tally to 2,049 cases of which 364 have recovered.
