MUSCAT: As many as 1,000 beds in four locations in Special Economic Zone (SEZAD) have been prepared for institutional isolation and medical care for those expected coronavirus (Covid-19) cases.
Speaking about the preparations, Dr. Ismail bin Ahmed Al Balushi, CEO, SEZAD said 1,000 beds have been funded with the support of companies operating within the Duqm region. “All institutional isolation centres have been furnished with around 1,000 beds funded with the support of companies operating in the region, and these places will be handed over to the Ministry of Health for supervision,” he added.
