Coronavirus: Royal Oman Police urge people to stay home and stay safe

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has urged citizens and residents to stay at home.

MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has urged citizens and residents to stay at home to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the country.

In a statement issued online, ROP said: “For your safety and comfort, we will remain vigilant, so stay safe in your homes for the sake of your country.“

According to the decisions by the Supreme Committee, public gatherings are banned in Oman and ROP said it has taken measures including advising people to stay at home.

Oman on Sunday confirmed 167 coronavirus cases of which 29 have recovered.
