MUSCAT: Starting today, March 29, 2020, all international and domestic flight operations will be temporarily halted across the airports in the country due to the coronavirus outbreak.
At this juncture, Oman Airports on Sunday issued a statement thanking all the teams working at country’s various airports. “Oman Airports would like to thank all the teams working at Muscat International Airport, Salalah Airport and the rest of our regional airports, including our strategic partners, airlines and all other service providers who have worked hard to ensure that all passengers arrive home safely during these difficult times,” the statement said.
“A time in which we have witnessed the collective efforts of the Ministry of Health and all of the other relevant sectors in dealing with the current situation. It’s with everyone’s cooperation, that we believe in our ability to overcome these difficult times and to fly once again. Until then, stay safe,” the statement added.
