MUSCAT: Oman on Saturday confirmed 21 new coronavirus cases bringing the country’s total confirmed cases to 152, Ministry of Health said.
According to the figures released by Oman TV, Muscat governorate has the highest infected cases in the country. Among the total 152 cases reported in the country, 108 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Muscat governorate alone.
Al Dhakhilya governorate has 13 confirmed cases with five recoveries, while North Al Batinah also reported 13 cases. South Al Batinah has reported eight cases while two cases each was reported in Dhofar and Al Dhahirah governarate. Al Sharqiyah and Al Buraimi governorates has one cases each

On Saturday MOH said of the 15 cases: “8 cases are linked with having close contact with confirmed cases of coronavirus, and eight 8 cases are related to travel, while five 5 cases are under epidemiological investigation.”
