MUSCAT: Indian airline companies have cancelled flights to Oman in the wake of coronavirus.
While GoAir flights from Muscat to Mumbai and Kannur has been suspended until April 15, IndiGo flights to Kochi has been suspended till March 29, highly placed sources informed The Arabian Stories.
Air India has cancelled flights to Mumbai from March 23 to March 30, 2020. However, from April 3 to May 1, Air India will only operate three flights from Mumbai to Muscat. “We will do all possible to accommodate our esteemed passengers on alternative flights via Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai,” the statement from Air India said.

According to Air India, passengers can opt for full refund or rebook their dates on alternative dates without any penalties.
Meanwhile, national airline Oman Air has reduced the frequency of its flights to India.
Oman on Sunday stopped all entry to non-Omanis except citizens of GCC countries to halt the spread of coronavirus.
