MUSCAT: To prevent the spread of coronavirus, Ministry of Manpower has stopped using fingerprint biometric attendance system for its employees.
The Ministry will stop taking attendance of its staff using fingerprint machine for one month. “This will prevent the spread of the virus,” an official from Manpower said on Sunday.
Oman haw so far reported 20 cases of coronavirus cases in the country, while the government has taken several preventive measures including suspending classes in schools and colleges for one month.
