MUSCAT:
There are no travel restrictions imposed on people travelling from India to Oman, a top official at Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified on Wednesday.

Speaking exclusively to The Arabian Stories, the official denied reports that Oman has imposed coronavirus-related travel restrictions on people flying from India.

Unverified reports apparently published by few Indian medias stated that Oman have imposed travel restrictions from coronavirus affected countries including India. This caused widespread panic and confusion among the Indian community in Oman. “This is not true. There are no travel restrictions currently for Indian sector,” he added.

The official, however, urged Indian expats in Oman to keep an eye on official advisories issued by the government.
