MUSCAT: Ministry of Health has urged to suspend or postpone all international conferences and events that are scheduled to take place in the country to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
In a statement issued on Saturday, MOH said: “Based on the current developments, the committee recommended the suspension or postponement of all international gatherings, events and conferences in the Sultanate, which hosts participants from outside the Sultanate, regardless of the participating countries or the number of participants, until further notice.”
Oman has so far confirmed 16 cases of coronavirus in the country.
