MUSCAT: Water supply is likely to be disrupted in many parts of Muscat for 48 hours starting on Friday, February 28, as the main desalination plant in Quriyat will undergo a periodic maintenance, Diam has said.
According to Diam, Muscat, Muttrah, Al Amerat, Quriyyat, and parts of Bausher will face water supply disruption for 48 hours.
“Diam will take precautionary measures to reduce the impact of the water supply during the maintenance period, which will continue for 48 hours as the station feeds,” an official from Diam said.

“Those wilayats where these supply will be affected have been ensured for alternative arrangements,” the official added.
