MUSCAT: Oman’s budget airline SalamAir has temporarily suspended flight operations between Oman and Bahrain following the coronavirus outbreak.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, SalamAir said the decision was issued by the Bahrain authorities as a national emergency plan.
Bahrain’s Health Ministry confirmed three new cases of the novel coronavirus on Wednesday, taking the total infections to 26.

In a statement, the ministry said three women coming to the country from Iran via transit flights had contracted the virus.
